After hearing from community advocates, AWD began working with Ablr this summer to improve the experience of users who have visual impairments.
Ablr is a local accessibility leader. The organization began by creating employment opportunities for individuals who have visual impairments and other disabilities. Ablr works to eliminate the digital divide, change how we think about disabilities and creates employment pathways. AWD shares a common interest with Ablr. We appreciate, and are applying, what we are learning from their team. We know that the website having clearer content and design benefits everyone.
